How to Sell a Stock

Ready to sell? Here's how to place a sell order on Aries.

Aries Mobile

1. Go to your portfolio by tapping the account icon
2. Select the stock you want to sell
3. Tap Trade
4. Tap Sell
5. Enter the number of shares you want to sell (or tap Sell All to sell your entire position)
6. Review your order details
7. Swipe up to submit your order

Aries Infinite (Web)

1. Navigate to your portfolio
2. Click on the stock you want to sell
3. In the order panel, select Sell
4. Choose your order type
5. Enter the number of shares to sell
6. Click Review and then Submit

Keep in mind

You can only sell shares that have fully settled. If you recently purchased shares, they may not be available to sell until settlement is complete (typically T+1).
